Rachel Lynch

Rachel Lynch grew up in Cumbria, England, and frequently hiked in the Lake District from a young age. After studying history at the University of Lancaster, she trained as a teacher in London. She began writing full-time in 2016 and is represented by Peter Buckman of the Ampersand Agency. Lynch is the author of the DI Kelly Porter series, which has sold over a million copies, as well as standalone psychological thrillers and military police thrillers featuring Major Helen Scott. Her work often explores the darker aspects of human nature with empathy and realism, drawing inspiration from her childhood in Cumbria and her experiences living abroad as an army wife. She currently lives near London with her husband and two children.
