Sarah Haywood

Sarah Haywood studied law and has worked as a solicitor, an advice worker, and an investigator of complaints about lawyers. She completed an Open University Creative Writing Course, followed by an MA in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. She lives in Liverpool with her husband and two sons. Her debut novel, The Cactus, was published in 2018 and became an international bestseller, a Reese Witherspoon x Hello Sunshine Book Club pick, and a Richard and Judy Book Club pick. It is also being adapted as a Netflix film starring Reese Witherspoon.
