Gail Honeyman
Gail Honeyman is a Scottish novelist best known for her debut novel Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine (2017), which won the Costa First Novel Award and became an international bestseller. She studied French language and literature at the University of Glasgow and completed postgraduate work in French poetry at the University of Oxford. Before publishing her novel she worked in administrative roles, including at the University of Glasgow, and trained in creative writing at the Faber Academy. Her work explores themes of loneliness, social isolation, and personal recovery.
