Elin Hilderbrand

Elin Hilderbrand (born July 17, 1969) is an American novelist best known for her bestselling summer/"beach read" novels set on and around Nantucket. A Johns Hopkins University and Iowa Writers' Workshop alumna, she moved to Nantucket in the 1990s and has written numerous popular works including The Beach Club, The Perfect Couple, Summer of '69 and The Hotel Nantucket.
