Maxine Harris, PhD, is CEO and cofounder of Community Connections, a private, not-for-profit mental health agency. She also serves as the executive director of the National Capital Center for Trauma Recovery and Empowerment. She is also an adjunct professor at Dartmouth Medical School and a psychological consultant to the Maryland Correctional Institute for Women.
