Nigel Foster
Nigel Foster is a renowned worldwide sea kayaker, kayak designer, instructor, and author, known for his adventurous spirit and passion for the natural world. He was the first and youngest paddler to circle Iceland by kayak. Foster has authored numerous books on kayaking techniques, adventures, and destinations, and has also contributed articles to various paddling magazines. He has designed kayaks and equipment for several companies and is recognized for his approachable teaching style and British humor. Foster currently lives in Seattle, USA, with his wife, ceramic artist Kristin Nelson.
