Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, 3rd Baronet (born 7 March 1944) is an English explorer, author and public speaker. He has led and taken part in numerous high-profile expeditions, held endurance records, and written both non-fiction accounts of exploration and fiction, including the novel The Feather Men (published in a film-tie edition as Killer Elite). He is known for books on polar exploration, biographies, and thrillers drawing on his military and SAS background.
