Raymond Khoury

Raymond Khoury is a Lebanese-born novelist and screenwriter best known for the international bestseller The Last Templar. Born in Beirut, he and his family relocated to Rye, New York, during the Lebanese Civil War. Khoury studied architecture at the American University of Beirut and later earned an MBA at INSEAD. He worked in architecture, banking and as a screenwriter (credits include work for BBC series such as Spooks and Waking the Dead) before achieving wide success as a thriller novelist. His books—often blending historical mystery, action and conspiracy—have been translated into more than forty languages and The Last Templar was adapted as an NBC miniseries.
