Glenn Cooper (born January 8, 1953) is an American physician-turned-novelist best known for international bestselling thrillers that blend historical mystery, conspiracy and suspense. A Harvard graduate in archaeology who earned his medical degree at Tufts, Cooper practiced medicine and later served as CEO of biotechnology companies before turning to fiction and film production. His debut Will Piper novel, The Library of the Dead, launched a successful series and his books have been translated into multiple languages and sold millions of copies worldwide.
