Janice Hallett is a British journalist, screenwriter and author best known for her bestselling mystery novels. Her debut, The Appeal (2021), was a major bestseller and won the CWA New Blood Dagger. Subsequent titles include The Twyford Code, The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels, The Christmas Appeal and The Examiner. A former magazine editor and government communications writer, she has also written for stage and screen and lives in London.
