Madeline Miller

Madeline Miller (born July 24, 1978) is an American novelist known for retellings of Greek mythology. Her debut novel, The Song of Achilles (2011), won the Orange Prize for Fiction; her second novel, Circe (2018), was a bestseller and received wide critical acclaim. She studied Classics at Brown University and later pursued studies at the University of Chicago and the Yale School of Drama. Prior to publication she taught Latin, Greek, and literature.
