Samuel Bawlf (born Robert Samuel Bawlf; June 7, 1944 – August 20, 2016) was a Canadian politician, historian and author best known for The Secret Voyage of Sir Francis Drake (2003/2004), in which he argued for an extended route of Drake's 16th-century circumnavigation along the northwest coast of North America. A former Victoria city councillor and British Columbia Social Credit cabinet minister, Bawlf later lived on Saltspring Island and wrote on maritime history and exploration.
