Ellen Keith is a Canadian writer, editor and translator best known for her historical novels set around World War II. Her debut novel The Dutch Wife (published 2018) became a bestseller in Canada; she is the winner of the HarperCollins/UBC Prize for Best New Fiction. A graduate of the University of Alberta (BA, History) and the University of British Columbia (MFA in Creative Writing), she has lived and worked in Amsterdam and has published short work in outlets such as The New Quarterly and The Globe and Mail.
