Mo Willems is an acclaimed American writer, animator, voice actor, and children's book author and illustrator. Best known for his popular series such as 'The Pigeon', 'Elephant & Piggie', and 'Knuffle Bunny', he began his career as a writer and animator for 'Sesame Street', where he won six Emmy Awards. He has received numerous accolades, including three Caldecott Honors and two Theodor Seuss Geisel Medals, and served as the inaugural Kennedy Center Education Artist-in-Residence.
