Kate McMullan

Kate McMullan is a prolific American author of over 100 children's books, ranging from picture books to middle-grade series. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she worked as a teacher and an editor before focusing on her writing career. She is well-known for series such as Dragon Slayers' Academy, Myth-o-Mania, and the Fluffy the Classroom Guinea Pig books, as well as her picture book collaborations with her husband, illustrator Jim McMullan.
