Carol Drinkwater

Carol Drinkwater (born 22 April 1948) is a British-Irish actress, author and filmmaker. She gained prominence playing Helen Herriot in the BBC television series All Creatures Great and Small and is the author of more than 20 books including a best-selling quartet of memoirs about life on her olive farm in Provence. Her work spans memoir, travel writing and commercial fiction, and she has also produced a documentary series inspired by her Mediterranean travel books.
