Neil Gaiman (born 1960) is an English author of novels, short fiction, comic books, graphic novels, audio theatre, and films. He is best known for works blending myth, fantasy and modern life, including The Sandman, American Gods, Coraline, The Graveyard Book, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane. Gaiman's work spans adult and children’s fiction and has received major awards in fantasy, science fiction and children’s literature.
