Dakota Banks

Dakota Banks is the pen name of an American author of paranormal thrillers and urban fantasy, best known for the Mortal Path series beginning with Dark Time (2009). Growing up in a converted 1890s funeral home sparked her interest in the paranormal; her books blend archaeology, mythological elements, and fast-paced supernatural suspense. She is a member of the Horror Writers Association, International Thriller Writers, Mystery Writers of America, and SFWA, and lives in a suburb of St. Louis with her family and cats.
