Stephen Frey is an American novelist known for bestselling thrillers set in the world of high finance. A former mergers & acquisitions banker at J.P. Morgan and vice president of corporate finance at an international bank in Manhattan, he later became a managing director at a private equity firm. Many of his novels (including the Christian Gillette series) draw on his finance background and blend corporate intrigue with suspense.
