Ben Coes

Ben Coes is a New York Times bestselling author of international political and espionage thrillers. His novels, often based on current events, feature Dewey Andreas, a former member of U.S. Special Forces. Coes's background includes work at the White House, as a speechwriter, and in finance. He was a fellow at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He was also a campaign manager for Mitt Romney's run for governor of Massachusetts in 2002. Coes was accepted into the Navy SEALs program but was disqualified due to a heart condition, which influenced his decision to write about such characters.
