Nelson DeMille
Nelson Richard DeMille (August 23, 1943 – September 17, 2024) was an American novelist best known for action-adventure and suspense thrillers such as Plum Island, The Charm School, The Gold Coast and The General's Daughter. A Vietnam combat veteran, he wrote numerous bestselling novels and collaborated on several works with his son Alex DeMille. DeMille served as president of the Mystery Writers of America and was honored as ThrillerMaster of the Year by the International Thriller Writers (2015).
