James A. Hetley (born 1947) is an American author and architect from Maine best known for a series of contemporary/Celtic-influenced fantasy novels set in coastal Maine, including The Summer Country and The Winter Oak. He has worked as an architect, Kempo karate instructor, electronics instructor, trash collector, and operating engineer, and served three years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
