James Christopher Frey (born September 12, 1969) is an American writer and media producer best known for the bestselling memoir A Million Little Pieces and for creating/producing YA and genre series such as The Lorien Legacies and Endgame. His early memoirs prompted controversy over fabricated material, but he has continued to publish novels and work in transmedia production.
