C. J. Daugherty

C. J. Daugherty (born Christi Daugherty) is an American-born novelist and former journalist based in the south of England. She began her career in journalism—working for outlets including the Dallas Morning News, Reuters and TimeOut—and later turned to fiction. She is best known for the Night School young-adult thriller series set at Cimmeria Academy; her work also includes The Secret Fire (co-written with Carina Rozenfeld), the Number 10 YA series, and adult crime thrillers published as Christi Daugherty (the Harper McClain series). Her Night School books have been translated into multiple languages and were optioned for television.
