Allyson Braithwaite Condie is an American author best known for her young adult and middle-grade fiction, including the bestselling Matched trilogy. A former high-school English teacher, she has written both YA dystopian novels and standalone middle-grade and adult works. Condie founded the WriteOut Foundation, which runs writing camps for rural teens.
