Libba Bray
Martha Elizabeth "Libba" Bray (born March 11, 1964) is an American author best known for young adult novels including the Gemma Doyle trilogy, Going Bovine (winner of the Michael L. Printz Award), the Diviners series, Beauty Queens, and Under the Same Stars. Born in Montgomery, Alabama and raised largely in Texas, Bray studied theatre at the University of Texas at Austin and later moved to New York. Her work often blends historical settings with paranormal and fantastical elements, and she has published short stories, essays, and plays in addition to novels.
