Anisha Lakhani

Anisha Lakhani is the author of the novel Schooled (2009). Born in Calcutta, India, she grew up in Saddle River, New Jersey, and received both her B.A. and M.A. from Columbia University. Until 2006 she taught English at The Dalton School in Manhattan and served as chair of the Middle School English Department. Schooled is her debut novel and draws on her experience in Manhattan private schools.
