Jonathan Safran Foer is an American novelist and non-fiction writer known for his inventive prose and emotionally resonant storytelling. His debut novel, Everything Is Illuminated (2002), received widespread acclaim; his subsequent novels include Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (2005) and Here I Am (2016).
