Ian Hamilton is a Canadian novelist best known for the Ava Lee series of crime novels featuring forensic accountant Ava Lee. He has written multiple novels in that series as well as stand-alone fiction; his books have been shortlisted for prizes including the Arthur Ellis Award, the Barry Award and the Lambda Literary Prize, and have been national bestsellers. The Ava Lee series is in development for television adaptation.
