Jay Kristoff (born 11 November 1973) is an Australian author of fantasy and science fiction. He is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of series including The Lotus War, The Illuminae Files (with Amie Kaufman), The Nevernight Chronicle, the Lifel1k3 trilogy, Aurora Cycle (with Amie Kaufman) and Empire of the Vampire. Kristoff's work spans adult and young-adult fiction and has won multiple Aurealis Awards and an Australian Book Industry Award. He resides in Melbourne, Australia.
