Shaun David Hutchinson

Shaun David Hutchinson (born May 1, 1978) is an American author of young adult fiction whose novels frequently combine speculative elements with LGBTQ+ characters and themes. He grew up in Jupiter, Florida, studied medieval and renaissance literature at Florida Atlantic University before leaving to work in information technology, and later became a full-time author. His notable books include We Are the Ants, At the Edge of the Universe, The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza, and the memoir Brave Face. He lives in Seattle, Washington.
