Karen Armstrong
Karen Armstrong (born 14 November 1944) is a British author and commentator known for her books on comparative religion. A former Roman Catholic religious sister, she is the author of numerous influential works on the history and practice of religion, emphasising compassion and commonalities among faiths. Her notable books include A History of God, The Case for God, Fields of Blood and The Lost Art of Scripture. She founded and champions the Charter for Compassion and has received multiple international honours for her contributions to interfaith understanding.
