Marion Dane Bauer
Marion Dane Bauer (born November 20, 1938) is an American author of more than 80 books for children and young adults. Her work spans picture books, chapter books, and novels for young readers. She was a founding faculty member and the first faculty chair of the MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts and has received numerous honors for her writing and editing.
