Cooper Edens (born Gary Drager) is an American author and illustrator known for his children's books, particularly those featuring a 'horizontal' approach to storytelling that encourages non-linear problem-solving. He gained widespread recognition for his 1978 book 'If You're Afraid of the Dark, Remember the Night Rainbow'. In addition to his original works, he has collaborated with other artists and compiled collections celebrating the history of children's book illustration.
