Isabel Cañas
Isabel Cañas is a Mexican‑American speculative fiction writer whose work blends historical research, gothic horror, and romance. She holds a doctorate in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and has lived in Mexico, Scotland, Egypt, Turkey, and the United States. Her novels (including The Hacienda and Vampires of El Norte) draw on Latin American history, folklore, and elements of the supernatural.
