Anna Jacobs (born 1941) is an English-born novelist who emigrated to Australia in 1973. A former teacher and textbook author, she has written over 100 novels including historical sagas and contemporary family stories. She also writes fantasy under the pseudonym Shannah Jay and has won the Australian Romantic Novel of the Year Award (2006) for Pride of Lancashire.
