Ann Bennett

Ann Bennett is a British author of historical fiction, known for her novels set during World War II in Southeast Asia and Europe. Inspired by her father's experiences as a prisoner of war on the Thai-Burma Railway, she began her writing career while working as a solicitor. She holds a law degree from Cambridge University and lives in Surrey, UK.
