Kyo Maclear
Kyo Maclear is a Canadian novelist, essayist and acclaimed author of children's books. Born in London and raised in Toronto, she writes picture books, nonfiction and literary fiction; her work includes Virginia Wolf, It Began with a Page, Birds Art Life and The Wish Tree. She holds advanced degrees in cultural studies and environmental humanities and has received awards including the Trillium Book Award and the Vicky Metcalf Award for Literature for Young People.
