Deborah Rodriguez
Deborah Rodriguez is an American writer, hairdresser, and humanitarian. She is best known for her memoir 'Kabul Beauty School', which details her experiences founding the first modern beauty academy in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban. She has also authored several works of fiction, including 'The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul' series. Rodriguez is the founder of the nonprofit organization Oasis Rescue and currently resides in Mazatlán, Mexico, where she owns a salon and spa.
