Neal Shusterman is an acclaimed American author known for his captivating and thought-provoking novels for young adults and middle-grade readers. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he later moved to Mexico City as a teenager, an experience he credits with broadening his perspective. He holds degrees in psychology and theater from the University of California, Irvine. Shusterman has written over thirty books, including the popular 'Unwind' dystology, the 'Skinjacker' trilogy, and the 'Arc of a Scythe' series. He is a recipient of the National Book Award for Young People's Literature for 'Challenger Deep' and the Margaret A. Edwards Award for his significant contribution to writing for teens.
