Rakesh Satyal is an American novelist and editor. He is best known for his debut novel, Blue Boy, which won a Lambda Literary Award and the Association of Asian American Studies Prose/Poetry Award. He has worked in the book publishing industry for many years, holding positions at various publishing houses, and is currently an Executive Editor at HarperOne.
