Stephen Kelman

Stephen Kelman is an English novelist born in 1976 in Luton, Bedfordshire. He grew up on the Marsh Farm council estate and held various jobs, including in marketing and local government, before focusing on his writing career in 2005. His debut novel, 'Pigeon English' (2011), was a commercial success and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. He is also the author of 'Man on Fire' (2015).
