Dinah Jefferies

Dinah Jefferies is a British novelist born in Malacca, Malaya, in 1948. She moved to England at the age of nine. After a career in art and other pursuits, she began writing novels in her 60s, drawing on her childhood experiences in Asia and later personal tragedies to craft emotionally resonant historical fiction. She is a Sunday Times bestselling author known for her atmospheric novels set in various international locations.
