Billie Livingston

Billie Livingston is a Canadian novelist, short story writer, essayist, and poet. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she grew up in Toronto and Vancouver. Her work often explores themes of vulnerability, poverty, and the complexities of family love, frequently featuring characters on the fringes of society. She has received numerous accolades, including the Writers' Trust Engel/Findley Award, and her work has been adapted for film.
