Betsy Lewin

Betsy Lewin is an acclaimed American illustrator and author, best known for her humorous and expressive illustrations in children's picture books, most notably the Caldecott Honor-winning 'Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type'. Born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, she studied at the Pratt Institute in New York City, where she met her husband, fellow illustrator Ted Lewin. Throughout her career, she has illustrated numerous books, both her own and those by other authors, often drawing inspiration from her extensive world travels. She was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 2015.
