Jane Thynne is a British novelist, journalist, and broadcaster. Born in Venezuela and educated in London and at St Anne's College, Oxford, she has worked for the BBC, The Sunday Times, and The Daily Telegraph. She is well known for her historical fiction, particularly the Clara Vine series, and has also written alternative history novels under the pen name C.J. Carey.
