Henry Gray

Henry Gray (1827–1861) was a British anatomist and surgeon, best known for authoring the seminal medical textbook 'Gray's Anatomy', first published in 1858. A Fellow of the Royal Society, he was a dedicated researcher and lecturer at St. George's Hospital in London, where he made significant contributions to the study of human anatomy before his untimely death from smallpox at the age of 34.
