Gabby Rivera
Gabby Rivera is a Bronx-born, queer Puerto Rican writer and storyteller known for her young adult novel "Juliet Takes a Breath" and for writing Marvel's "America" comic series, which featured America Chavez, Marvel's first queer Latina superhero. Her work often explores themes of identity, representation, and joy for people of color and the LGBTQ+ community. Rivera is also a speaker, advocate, and host of the podcast "Joy Uprising."
