Melissa Caruso
Melissa Caruso is an American author of fantasy novels, known for her adult fantasy series, Swords & Fire Trilogy. She graduated with honors in Creative Writing from Brown University and holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her debut novel, The Tethered Mage, was shortlisted for a Gemmell Morningstar Award for best debut fantasy novel of 2017. Caruso is also an avid LARPer and tabletop gamer. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband, two daughters, and pets.
