Cliff McNish
Cliff McNish is an English author of fantasy and supernatural novels for young adults. He began writing in 1998 and has been a full-time author since 2003, combining writing with school visits and workshops on fiction writing. His work is primarily in the young adult fantasy and children's fiction genres, with a notable focus on horror and supernatural themes. McNish's debut novel, 'The Doomspell' (2000), launched a successful trilogy translated into 26 languages. His ghost novel 'Breathe' was recognized as one of the top 100 adult and children's novels of all time by UK School Librarians in 2013. He often draws inspiration from his daughter and his own childhood experiences.
